The C.C.A.R.C. Team's services have been requested by Lee County Emergency Management beginning this Friday evening and/or Saturday.
Please monitor the local Sanford Amateur Radio Repeater, 441.950 CTCSS 136.5 at 5pm Friday evening for further information regarding our deployment.
We will conduct a short F.A.Q. session following the announcement.

Field Day Event Activities 2007
From the Social Corner:
Some comments about our past Field Day on June 23rd and 24th of 2007. Another fun filled event from CCARCT and this year using our club call NC4CC. A lot of good help came out to set up and a lot of folks in attendance in running the equipment. Despite unfavorable band conditions, I think our group did very well, Winding up with 1,190 total points including the bonus points. All had a fun time and it was good to see our youth out at the event with our local politicians Mayor Cornelia Olive, Commissioner Mr. Nathan E. Paschal and our Lee County Emergency Service Director, Eric Griffin, and other guests. It was great to be able to use the Mobile Emergency Command Center on location.

Thursday, 11-01 meeting
Several new members attended the CCARCT group tonight. All have passed their tests, but have not yet received their call signs from the FCC.
